The city of Arromanches, Normandy, France on a bewutiful day . A quaint village where D-Day took place. It was hard to imagine that such a horrific time could be remembered at such a place as this.

Next to Canyon de Chelly in Chinle, Arizona, is Canyon del Muerto (Canyon of death). At some point in time, in our illustrious history, the cavalry went in and wiped out a peaceful tribe of cliff-dwelling indians. You can see the structures in the center left of the image. 20" x 13".
